FAQ
Questions about plans
- Do I need a credit card to start?
- Not for the Free plan: it is created automatically with your first organization, once you have an account. Paid plans are bought inside the portal where online payment is enabled; otherwise plan changes are handled through sales.
- Is there a free trial?
- Your first paid subscription starts with a 14-day free trial. A card is required up front and is charged when the trial ends; there is one trial per organization. The Free plan has no trial because it has no charge.
- Do subscriptions renew automatically, and what about tax?
- Yes. Paid subscriptions renew for successive periods of the same length until you cancel, and canceling takes effect at the end of the paid period. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where applicable. See the Terms of Service for the details.
- What counts as an asset?
- A domain, subdomain, IP address, website URL, web application or API endpoint that you have added and verified in your organization.
- What happens when I reach a limit?
- The API refuses the action with a clear quota message and the portal explains which limit was reached. Nothing is silently dropped.
- Can you scan a site I do not own?
- Not beyond the free check. The free check performs this small, fixed set of read-only requests against a public hostname you enter. Anything deeper (Standard, Deep and Custom scans, port and service checks, API scope, crawling) requires verified ownership and an authorization record. At most 1 request per second, 20 requests and 60 seconds per check, one connection at a time.
