Verify your domain

Verify with a DNS TXT record

Add one TXT record to your domain's DNS and press Check verification.

  1. In the portal open the asset, choose Verify ownership → DNS TXT and copy the values shown.
  2. In your DNS provider add a TXT record:
    • Name / host: _tasscan (some providers want the full _tasscan.yourdomain.com; the host name itself also works)
    • Value: tasscan-verification= followed by the 32-character token shown in the portal, copied exactly
  3. Save, keep your other records as they are, and wait a few minutes for DNS to update.
  4. Back in the portal press Check verification. You can check once per minute.

Step-by-step instructions for common providers (Cloudflare, GoDaddy, Namecheap) are in Verification guides for popular platforms.

Tips

  • Paste the value without quotes or extra spaces. Some DNS tools add the surrounding quotes for you; that is fine.
  • A subdomain can be verified on its own, or approved to inherit the verification of its verified parent domain.
  • If the check keeps failing, see Verification did not work.
