Verify with a meta tag

Add one meta tag to the head of your homepage.

  1. In the portal open the asset, choose Verify ownership → Meta tag and copy the tag. It looks like this:

    <meta name="tasscan-verification" content="your-token">

  2. Add it inside the <head> of your homepage.

  3. Publish the change and press Check verification.

Requirements

  • The tag must be in the HTML your server sends. A tag added later by JavaScript is not seen.
  • It must be in the first 64 KB of the page and must not be inside a comment or a script.
  • Redirects are followed only on the same host name, as with the HTTP file method.
